Arturo Sandoval: Trumpet Evolution (2003). The legendary Arturo Sandoval pays tribute to nineteen of the greatest and most influential trumpeters in both jazz and classical music from the last century in this journey through the development of the trumpet. The album features Arturo’s mastery of the styles of Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, and Wynton Marsalis just to name a few.

  1. I wasn’t able to find any good videos of Arturo playing one of the tunes off of the Trumpet Evolution album. If anyone knows of one, let me know, I’d like to see it.
